NADOLOL: Antihypertensive; angina.

NALBUPHINE: A gas used as a general anesthetic.
NALDECON: Decongestant; antihistamine.
NALDELATE: Liquid, antitussive. Decongestant.

NAPRELAN: Anti-inflammatory.
NAPROSYN: Anti-inflammatory to relieve arthritis; dysmenorrhea; pain.
NAPROXEN: Antiarthritic. Anti-inflammatory.
NARATRIPTAN: Generic medication, which is often successful in preventing migraine headaches.
NARCAN: Reversal of narcotic depression including respiratory.
NARDIL: Antidepressant, monoamine oxidase inhibitor.
NASACORT: Nasal spray - intranasal steroidal anti-inflammatory.
NASALCROM: For relief and prevention of nasal allergy symptoms. It is a nose spray that has brought relief to many hay fever sufferers.
NASALIDE: Intranasal steroidal anti-inflammatory.
NASCOBAL: Vitamin B-12 as a nasal preparation.
NASONEX: Treatment and prophylaxis for allergic nasal symptoms.
NAVANE: For psychosis i.e., antipsychotic.
NEFAZODONE: For depression.
NELFINAVIR: Used to suppress the HIV virus. Should not be taken with St. John's Wort, which can inhibit its activity.
NEMBEX: Paralyzing drug.
NEORAL: Immunosuppressant often administered as an adjunct to organ transplant.
NEOSURE: Infant formula.
NEO-SYNEPHRINE: Nasal congestion.
NEOTECT (NeoTect): A drug used to identify whether masses which show up on a chest x-ray is benign or cancerous.
NEPHPLEX: Tablets containing B-vitamins, ascorbic acid
NEPHROCAPS: Vitamins that are chemical compounds that are essential to the normal growth, development and function of the body. Multivitamin supplements are necessary when inadequate amounts are received as a result of poor nutrition, certain illnesses and in pregnancy.
NEPHRON FA: Tablets containing B-vitamins, ascorbic acid
NEPHRO-VITE: Vitamins are chemical compounds that are essential to the normal growth, development and function of the body. Multivitamin supplements are necessary when inadequate amounts are received as a result of poor nutrition, certain illnesses and in pregnancy.
NEPTAZANE: Diuretic, carbonic anhydrase inhibitor.
NEUMEGA: Used to treat thrombocytopenia related to radiation and/or chemotherapy.
NEUPOGEN: Currently being researched.
NEURAMATE: Anxiolytic.
NEURONTIN: Also called ... "gabapentin". This medication is an anticonvulsant which is taken with other medications to help control seizure disorders. Secondary, it controls the pain peripheral neuropathy. It often causes drowsiness, skin rashes, sores in the mouth and impeding bone marrow production of red blood cells. Also, used for shingles.
NEUTRA-PHOS: Phosphorus supplement.
NEUTROPHIN: Amyotrophic.
NEVIRAPINE: HIV-1 infection, in combination with other drugs. Note: Should not be used with St. John's Wort.
NIACIN: Combats hyperlipidemia; Vasodilator. Cholesterol lowering medicine.
NIASPAN: Niacin.
NICOTROL INHALER: Nicotine inhalation system ... doctor prescribed ... to assist breaking the smoking habit.
NIFEDIPINE: Heart and blood pressure medicine interferes with Histamine release. It is a blood pressure drug developed by Bayer. Finding correct dosage is the main problem i.e., too much causes a lowering of blood pressure that results in blackouts and dizziness.
NIFEREX: A medication, which improves the quality of blood by stimulating the production of erythrocytes and hemoglobin (Hematinic).
NIFEREX FORTE: Polysaccharide-iron complex.
NIMBEX: IV infusion; Neuromuscular blocking agent for anesthesia.
NIMODIPINE: Currently being researched.
NIPRIDE: IV infusion for hypertension.
NITRO-BID: Prophylaxis and treatment of angina (not acute attacks).
NITRO-DUR: Prophylaxis for angina.
NITROGLYCERINE: One of the nitrite drugs that cause relaxation of blood vessels. It is the best medication for relieving the pain of angina (pectoris).
NITROFURANTOIN: For susceptible urinary tract infections.
NITROL: Prophylaxis and treatment of angina.

NITROPRUSSIDE DRIP: Antihypertensive.
NITROSTAT: Prevention and treatment of angina.
NITROUS OXIDE: A gas used as a general anesthetic.
NIZORAL: Cream for fungus. Also, a shampoo.
NOLVADEX: Anti-estrogen therapy used in advanced cases of breast cancer ... Tamoxifen citrate ... 10mg.
NOLVADEX: A drug used to prevent breast cancer in healthy women (Tamoxifen). One side effect is a tendency to cause uterine cancer.
NORCURON: Neuromuscular powder for IV injection.
NORDETTE: Birth control pill.
NOREPINEPHRINE: A hormone present in the adrenal medulla.
NORFLEX: Skeletal muscle relaxant.
NORGESIC: Painful musculoskeletal conditions.
NORMODYNE: Hypertension.
NORPACE: Antiarrhythmic.
NORPLANT: Long term contraception.
NORTRIPTYLINE: Antidepressant.
NORVASC: For angina, hypertension. It is a calcium channel blocker, which lowers blood pressure.
NOVAHISTINE: Over the counter decongestant/antihistamine (phenylephrine HCI, chlorpheniramine meleate).
NOVAHISTINE DH: Narcotic antitussive, decongestant, and antihistamine.
NOVAHISTINE DMX: Over the counter decongestant/antihistamine expectorant.
NOVAHISTINE EXPECTORANT: Narcotic antitussive, decongestant, and expectorant.
NOVOCAINE: Local anesthetic. See "procaine".
NOVOLIN 70/30: Insulin.
NOVOLIN L: Equivalent to Lente.
NOVOLIN N: Equivalent to Lente.
NOVOLIN R: Equivalent to Lente.
NPH: Antidiabetic.
NUBAIN: Narcotic analgesic.
NUTREN 1: Nutritional liquid therapy.
NUTREN 1.5: Nutritional liquid therapy.
NUTREN 2.0: Nutritional liquid therapy.
NYQUIL: Properly spelled "NyQuil". Contains a cough suppressant, decongestant, anti-histamine and pain reliever. Contains alcohol.
NYSTATIN: Antifungal.
