GAMMA LINOLENIC ACID (GLA): In a review of clinical studies conducted over the past 20 years, it was found that gamma linolenic acid may ease "morning stiffness" associated with rheumatoid arthritis. In 39 studies conducted between 1980 and 1999, lead researcher Dr. Marya Zilberberg found that there was a 60%-65% reduction of arthritis stiffness when patients consumed GLA. The review was sponsored by Bioriginal Food & Science Corp.
